Discover the Muscular Performance of the 2024 BMW X6

The BMW X6 is a mid-size luxury coupe SUV that delivers some of the best performance in its class across each of its three available models: the xDrive40i, M60i, and M Competition.

The xDrive40i is equipped with a 3.0L six-cylinder engine and 48-volt hybrid technology that together boast 375 horsepower and 398 torque pound-feet for zero to 60 MPH acceleration in 5.2 seconds. The M60i features a 4.4L V8 engine and hybrid technology with 523 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque for zero to 60 MPH acceleration in just 4.2 seconds. Using the same type of engine, the M Competition maxes out at 617 horsepower and 553 for an astonishing zero to 60 MPH acceleration of 3.7 seconds. Both all-wheel drive capabilities and eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters are standard across all models.

Despite its elegance, the X6 has plenty of muscle. When the optional trailer hitch is incorporated, it has a maximum towing capacity of 7,200 pounds. According to EPA estimates, the xDrive40i has a fuel economy of 23 and 26 MPG between city and highway. Due to its greater performance, the M60i offers a fuel economy of 17 and 22 MPG, respectively, while the M Competition offers just 15 and 17 MPG.
