2016 Was a Record Production Year for BMW Manufacturing

BMW Manufacturing recently revealed that it had set a new largest annual production record, with a total of 411,171 X model vehicles produced in the Spartanburg, South Carolina, plant during 2016. This record guarantees that the plant remains BMW Group global production network’s largest plant by volume. It’s notable that the plant exported 70 percent of its production, or 287,700 vehicles, last year.
